'RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST'

for our long-term residential program in Boerne. This position is a part-time position (20-30 hours a week). Staff must be flexible to work a combination of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm to include weekends and holidays. You MUST pass a  criminal history check, pre-employment drug testing and have a clean driving record.

Dir. of Special Education
~Generation 13 Charter School located in Boerne, Texas
~To oversee the charter school’s special education and regular education programs, and to provide        
the establishment of needed services for special needs students, grades 9-12.
~To assist the Superintendent in the general operation of the charter school and to be responsible for
the schools operation in the absence of the Superintendent.
~To plan and implement the schools curriculum, graduation plans, and oversee the I.T. program.
~To provide the immediate supervision of all instructional staff.

Qualifications:
~Texas Special Education Certification
~3 years of public school experience preferred

Salary and Benefits:
~Salary range, annual: $50,000-$63,000 + TRS + Social Security + TRS ActiveCare

PEIMS Officer/Financial Coordinator
~Generation 13 Charter School located in Boerne, Texas
~Grades 9-12, 1st year, Grades 7 & 8 will be added the 2nd year

Qualifications:
~PEIMS Certified
~Secondary/High School experience preferred
~Some college preferred
~Knowledge of ESC RSCCC software programs

Salary and Benefits:
~Salary: $32,000 - $40,000 + T.R.S. + Social Security+ TRS ActiveCare

Instructional Staff, Core areas
~Generation 13 Charter School, located in Boerne, Texas
~Provide at-risk students, grades 9-12, with appropriate learning activities
  and experiences that will enable them to fulfill their potential for intellectual,  
  emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop student ability level
   instructional materials through a modified curriculum and prepared lesson
  plans.

Qualifications:
~Must have Texas teaching certificate in Language Arts, Mathematics,
Social Studies, or Science.
~Special Education Supplemental Certification.

Experience:.
~Previous experience working with at-risk secondary students preferred,
but not required.

Salary:
~The charter school teacher salaries will be comparable to those of the
Boerne Independent School District salary pay schedule + TRS +
Social Security + TRS ActiveCare.
