RECEIVES ACCREDITATION

Youth Alternatives has been accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA)!  Accreditation attests that an organization meets the highest national standards and provides assurance that the organization is performing services which the community needs, is conducting its operations successfully and is managing its funds effectively.  Youth Alternatives is proud to join COA’s Community of Excellence that includes more than 1,000 private and public organizations that serve over 6,000,000 children, individuals and families in the United States and Canada.  We are truly pleased to be recognized for delivering the best quality services to our community!

COA is an international, independent, not-for-profit accrediting body of social and behavioral healthcare service.  COA’s mission “promotes best-practice; champions quality services for children, youth, and families; and advocates for the value of accreditation.  The benefits of COA accreditation are:

·         Identifies organizations in which consumers can have confidence
·         Enables organizations to receive public and private funding support
·         Provides a sold risk-management strategy and ongoing plan for quality improvement
